Board certified in critical care and emegency nursing, Patricio ClavecillasJr., RN, MD, CEN, CCRN, has been working at the bedside the last 3 years, initially as ED nurse at Mercy Hospital of Bakersfield, then as ICU staff at the Critical Care Unit of Glendale Memorial Hospital and Health Center, one of the top heart hospitals in the country. Currently, he is a travel nurse in L.A. In this book, he is able to share his nursing experience bringing with him first hand knowledge not only as a nurse, but also as a former educator and a clinician.
After a successful nursing career which brought him to his American dream, he is now ready to face another journey. To pursue a residency program in Internal/Family Medicine in order to answer a calling: to become a healer once more.
